Tim Stutzle Has A Message For Greedy NHLers

In recent years, the NHL salary cap has continued to go up, with every big contract seemingly topping the last, but with so much money going around, it becomes much tougher to build a Championship roster.

A team on the rise

There aren't many teams left in the league that don't have a player making over $10 million per season, and given that the 2022-23 season was the first to see a player doing so winning the Stanley Cup, it's always a tough situation to put a team in.


One of those teams that do fit into that category is the Ottawa Senators, who have built a good young core with players on relatively good contracts, and now, young forward Tim Stutzle has opened up on the situation.

A talented young star

In a recent interview, Stutzle revealed his feelings on players making that type of money, as it has clearly impacted teams opportunities to win Stanley Cups in the leagues history.



Ultimately, the Senators have plenty of work to do to become a genuine Stanley Cup threat, but with Stutzle, Brady Tkachuk and the rest of their young core on relatively cheap contracts, it's unsurprising that he would have this type of feeling on the situation.
