During the second period of the Global Series matchup between the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs chaos erupted. A mad dash to play some defense led to a scary injury for a Red Wings defenseman.





Jake Walman has been one of the most important defensemen for the Red Wings during this season. In 17 games this season Walman has 7 points which puts him on pace for a career high of 33. The mobile defenseman will now likely miss some time.
