REPORT: NHL ANNOUNCES SOME NEW CHANGES TO UPCOMING STADIUM SERIES GAMES

SEP 21, 2022  (18H30)      RYAN
The outdoor games have become quite the tradition in the National Hockey League, and while people are tending to lose interest in watching them on TV, there is no lack of interest in attending them in person. These games sell out quick and besides maybe a few people complaining about the temperature, everyone enjoys themselves.

Today the NHL announced some changes to the Stadium series games which will start with the game between the Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes at Carter-Finley Stadium on February 18th.

This year, fans will be allowed to go out onto the field and watch the game closer.

Fun news: Fans will be allowed *on the field* to watch the NHL Stadium Series game between the @Canes and @Capitals at @NCState next February.

Watching from the field will be ''general admission'' and fans will be allowed to watch the game from both end zones. While this is just a chance for the NHL to admit more people and get a little more profit, it would be pretty neat to watch this game up close.
