For the first time in their franchise history last season, the Vegas Golden Knights missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

After a load of drama with former head coach Peter DeBoer, the team left him go and brought in former Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy to help bring this team back to glory.

While they do have some elite talent on the team, they will need to find a way to win this season without some players who have been announced to be out for the season. But ontop of these players out, captain Mark Stone is still practicing in a non-contact uniform as well.

Updates from GM Kelly McCrimmon:

Mark Stone, Brendan Brisson & Peter DiLiberatore will begin camp in non-contact jerseys.

Nolan Patrick, Robin Lehner & Shea Weber will not play in the 2022-23 season.

Laurent Brossoit, Daniil Miromanov, Spencer Foo and Jakub Demek will miss training camp due to injury.

Nic Hague's contract status remains a priority for the organization.

While the team knew full-well that Weber would not be playing for the organization, Nolan Patrick who was projected to be a superstar is a huge loss, and most importantly, starting goalie Robin Lehner.
