Major Update in the Investigation Around Mike Babcock

Claims recently emerged that Mike Babcock made players show their phone content, which he then projected in his office. Both Babcock and the Blue Jackets' captain, Boone Jenner, refuted these allegations, stating it was a teaching strategy to better understand players.
Babcock Denies Allegations
"While meeting with our players and staff I asked them to share, off their phones, family pictures as part of the process of getting to know them better," Babcock said. "These meetings have been very important and beneficial, not only for me but for our players and staff, as well. And to have them depicted like this is irresponsible and completely inaccurate."
Despite Deputy commissioner Bill Daly saying the league and NHL Players' Association looked into the situation and found no wrong doing, recent updates indicate that NHLPA representatives Marty Walsh and Ron Hainsey have traveled to Columbus, potentially indicating trouble for Babcock. This update was provided by ESPN's Katie Strang.
What may have previously seemed to some as innocuous locker room talk is clearly taking a turn for the worse if the NHLPA is now involving themselves.
Troubled Past
Babcock is no stranger to controversy. During his stint in Toronto In 2017, Babcock allegedly asked Mitch Marner, a rookie at the time, to rank his teammates in order of effort and then later confronting those Marner had put at the bottom. He would leave the organization in 2019
