Jacob Trouba leaves game INJURED after slew-foot from Corey Perry (VIDEO)
Tonight the New York Rangers are hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning in what is very likely going to be the second round matchup of this years playoffs.
The Rangers and Lightning met last year in the playoffs and after a 2-0 series lead by the Rangers, the Lightning stormed back and won 4 straight games to take the series.
Tonight during the first period Jacob Trouba left the game after he slammed his head on the ice.
In the video below you will see Corey Perry come up from behind him and push Trouba off balance, sending him hard to the ice.
Trouba laid on the ice for a moment before heading to the bench. After sitting on the bench, he eventually headed down the hall way to the locker room where he had not been seen since:

The playoffs are less than 2 weeks away, this is definitely not something New York Rangers fans want to be seeing right now.
