GINO ODJICK'S FRIEND REVEALS THE CAUSE OF DEATH OF THIS FORMER NHL ENFORCER
BY RYAN
Gino Odjick sadly passed away at the young age of 52 after battling some health problems that he stated publicly back in 2014.
Gino's good friend Peter Leech, sat down with the Vancouver Province and revealed how Odjick passed.
I was there for the whole thing. He had a heart attack, couldn't recover from it. We knew this day was going to come, we didn't know when. We were hoping much later.
He collapsed in the clinic, thank god the nurses were there. They worked on him for 45 minutes. It was tough to watch.

Even though he was an enforcer in the league, people knew him as someone who was very caring and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
Leech stated:
That's what he had. Unfortunately that big heart gave out. He lived life, we always joked.
Rest in peace Gino.
