Love him or hate him, you cannot deny that Evander Kane has been playing some very good hockey for the Edmonton Oilers since joining the team.

Last night the Oilers were in LA for game 6 which was a do or die game for the Oilers and they were missing Darnell Nurse who was given a one-game suspension for head-butting Phillip Danault the game prior.

Tied at 2 midway through the third period, Tyson Barrie would put one in the net to give the Oilers a 3-2 lead. The Kings pulled the goalie for the extra attacker and Kane was able to bury puck in the empty net to assure the victory for Edmonton.

Kane thought it would be fun to taunt the crowd after the goal, so he held up 7 fingers to let them know that it was going 7 games. It was also Kane's 7th goal of the series, so he could have also been giving himself credit, but who knows.
