Breaking: 900-Game Veteran Retires and Joins Central Division Team

Minnesota Wild Hire Stepan
The renowned reporter Michael Russo revealed that the Wild are hiring Derek Stepan as a front-desk employee!
"Years of me campaigning for the #mnwild to sign Derek Stepan finally worked. Stepan is shadowing Bill Guerin and the Wild staff and the plan is for him to work with them in some capacity soon. Guerin/Stepan live by each other so they joked it's bring your neighbor to work day."
This also means that Stepan's playing days are over.
Since he was drafted in 2008 by the Rangers at the 51st overall pick, he played 890 games and scored 515 points. He played for the Rangers, the Coyotes, the Senators and the Hurricanes.
An official announcement should be made soon to reveal his role within the organization.
