BREAKING: Sports Commentator wants Alexander Ovechkin ARRESTED!
Keith Olbermann a sports commentator from a popular American Sports news company has made a very controversial suggestion that he believes its a good idea to help a basketball star who was arrested in Russia.
Brittany Griner a WNBA Star was arrested for narcotics charges in Russia and has been in a Russian prison since February. Olbermann's master plan is that the United States Government should put Washington Capitals Captain Alex Ovechkin in Jail.What does Alex Ovechkin have to do with Brittany Griner? In Olbermann's mind Alex Ovechkin and Russian President Vladimir Putin are very close, so if Ovechkin was put in Jail the U.S. Government could try to negotiate for Griner's release.
Olbermann made the suggestion on Twitter saying that:
"There is a growing expectation that Russia will sentence Griner to 10 years in prison."
Griner was detained at a Moscow airport for allegedly carrying vaping cartridges containing hash oil, a marijuana concentrate currently illegal in the country.
According to a recent Associated Press report:
